Seed Start Schedule

February 1, 2011

For those of you who are confused as to when to start, transplant and harvest your seed-started plants, don’t despair!  I’ve jimmied together an automatic seed starting schedule that will calculate it all for you.  All you need is to enter your last spring frost and your first fall frost.

You can download the document here: Seed Starting Chart

What great information! Found you on botanical. I just started my seeds to get a head start on the season. Spring doesn ‘t come soon enough, sometimes!

Thank you so much for this! As a newbie gardener this information – all in one place – is invaluable!
Although it already looks like I’m behind :(

Wow – a whole year later, I just found your site while searching for a zone-specific seed-starting chart or calendar. WOW! Your spreadsheet is fabulous! Well done, easy to use, easy to read, and incredibly helpful! I may post a link to it over on my blog as it is getting to be that time of the year!

Terrific name for your blog, by the way. I’m looking forward to checking the rest of it out! Thanks again.
