Hi Kathy,
Excellent website!
I just bought a house, and I have been growing heirloom tomato seedlings in my bay window…waiting to transplant them into a 4′ x 12′ raised bed. I too, am trying Mel’s Mix and the Square Foot method.
Where do you buy your horticultural-grade vermiculite?

Hi Anthony,
Thanks! If you’re doing Mel’s Mix you’ll need a lot more than what I have posted in that picture. I would suggest going to your local nursery and buy in bulk. I never did the mix and only used the square foot grid as an overlay to my raised beds.
Good luck!
Kathy
