Plant Sale List

April 24, 2009

Wow, so I’m finally done finalizing and re-finalizing my list of tomato plants for sale this year.  You can find the list HERE.  I’ve definitely gone overboard this year with the different varieties however I hope most people will be able to find something they want.  I’ve got 27 different beefsteaks, 13 globes, 2 hearts, 4 pear, 5 plum, 10 cherry and 3 currant varieties.  Compared to last year’s sale, it’s a little ridiculous.

That is a lot of tomatoes. Do you ever rent a stall at a farmers market?

    Hi Dan,

I started last year at the Kemptville Farmer’s Market, a fledgling market that is quickly growing. This year the KFM kicks off with Veg Stock and the Dandelion Festival on the weekend of May 30th. I plan on being a vendor for the first couple of weekends while it’s still planting time.

Hi Kathy, I came upon your site through your ad on Kijiji. This is probably the best gardening blog I’ve ever encountered. A joy to read with great information. I moved to Kemptville about a year ago and I’m working with 1.5 acres of blank slate. I’ve been an avid organic gardener for over 30 years but turning this vast lawn into an oasis has been a little daunting. One section at a time! Anyway, I’m in the process of building raised vegetable beds and look forward to purchasing some of your tomato plants. See you soon!
